However, it is different from 2020 and 2021, in 2022 the COVID-19 Pandemic has begun to subside and almost all activities have been running as before the Pandemic. Therefore, we do not only discuss the Summary of the COVID-19 Pandemic, but also the Summary of General Events.

In both cases, vaccination with a different brand is allowed depending on the vaccine expiration date. This policy is implemented to address the slow rate of second dose vaccination, with 2.5 million people having received only one dose after 6 months.

Muhammadiyah organization announced that the month of Ramadan 1443 H starts on Saturday, 2 April 2022, while the isbat calculation conducted by the government stated that the month of Ramadan 1443 H starts on Sunday, 3 April 2022.
The difference in the start of fasting became a topic of debate in society, but eventually, the government announced that Eid al-Fitr (1 Shawwal 1443 H) falls on the same day as Muhammadiyah, which is 2 May 2022.
